Nforce2 Motherboard and CD-RW problems
At this point, I installed the Nforce2 drivers that came with the packaged CD, rebooted, then turned the computer off to remove my old NIC card, and attached the cable from the cable modem to the NF7 built in NIC card and started it up again. My video card is a GeForce3 TI200, and my sound card is a SoundBlaster

Then installed the Nvidia Nforce2 drivers supplied with the Mboard. All was well up until this stage. Next I installed the latest Win2K catalyst drivers for the Radeon. Now when I try to log into windows at the Ctrl-Alt-Del prompt it fails. Or rather it just displays the login prompt without any error.

I have been running the Nvidia nForce2 2.03 drivers and hadn't had any problems, but when I looked at the IDE section it just said "nForce IDE controller" but did not list Primary or Secondary Just happens Nvidia has recently released 3.13 nForce2 drivers, so I downloaded those and installed the complete set.

The IDE driver option for the Nforce2 drivers (forgot what they call it) is not as good as native WinXP. I had problems with my CD burner after installing them. Remove all the drivers with one of the dozens of utilities available (I use "unclean"). Then reinstall the drivers but choose NOT to install the IDE
